About Prompter

Prompter is an independent teleprompter app for iPhone. We make it for people who talk to a camera — creators, teachers, coaches, speakers and founders — and want to get it right in one take.

Why we built it

Recording a talking-head video usually means juggling notes, losing your place and doing the same line ten times. Most teleprompters scroll at a fixed speed, so you end up chasing the text. We wanted the opposite: a prompter that listens and follows you.

What we believe

• Your words stay yours. Scripts live on your iPhone. No account, no cloud copy.
• No tracking. The app has no analytics, ads or third-party trackers.
• On-device first. Follow voice uses Apple's on-device speech recognition, so it works offline.
• Honest pricing. The core prompter is free. Pro is clearly priced, and you can cancel in two taps in iOS Settings.

What's next

We're working on AI help for writing and shortening scripts, and on automatic subtitles for your videos. They will appear on the features page when they ship.
