Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Prompter app for iOS (the "App"). "We", "us" and "our" refer to the developer of the App. By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms.

1. Apple's Standard EULA

The App is licensed to you, not sold. Your license to use the App is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Standard EULA"). These Terms add to the Standard EULA; if they conflict, the Standard EULA controls to the extent of the conflict. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it.

2. Prompter Pro, subscriptions and payments

The App is free to download and use. Some features — Follow voice beyond your first 3 free recordings, mirror mode and saving videos without a watermark — require Prompter Pro, available as:

Prices are shown in USD; the App Store shows the price in your local currency before you confirm, and that price applies. Prices may include applicable taxes depending on your region.

Auto-renewable subscription terms

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • If you start the Yearly plan with a free trial, you will be charged $49.99 (or the local equivalent) when the 7-day trial ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
  • Your subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings: open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription or the Lifetime option.

All payments are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple according to its policies; you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds directly. If we change subscription prices, Apple will notify you in advance as required, and you can cancel before the new price applies.

Purchases are tied to your Apple ID. Use Restore Purchases in the App to unlock Pro on another device signed in to the same Apple ID.

3. Your content

You own the scripts you write and the videos you record. They are stored on your device and in your Photos library; we don't have access to them. You are responsible for your content and for having the rights to anything you record or publish, including the consent of people who appear in your videos.

Videos recorded without Pro include a "Made with Prompter" watermark.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use the App to break the law or infringe anyone's rights, and don't attempt to reverse-engineer, bypass purchase checks, or interfere with the App, except where the law expressly allows it.

5. Features and changes

We may add, change or remove features to improve the App. Features described as "coming soon" are not part of your purchase until they are released. Follow voice depends on Apple's speech recognition, and its accuracy and language support can vary by device, iOS version, language and environment.

6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms or the Standard EULA, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost recordings or data. Back up anything important. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

7. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. Your license ends automatically if you fail to comply with these Terms. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription — cancel it in your Apple ID settings.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the date above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept them.
